P2P

There are quasi-legal issues, to be certain, and often the hassle makes it more of a pain than it's worth. But I missed Boston Legal last Sunday, which is one of the only network shows I bother to see on a weekly basis. Sunday night at midnight I found a torrent file on ed2k which was complete in the morning. Started the torrent before I left for work and when I came home there it was. Occassionally a pain in the ass, sure, but as the geeky poor-man's Tivo, its hard to beat.

NFL Playoffs

Its a shame when its really over for another year, and its hard for one game to really live up to all the buildup, but the few games before the Bowl which is really quite good (and which some might refer to as Super) are always good.
My pick was Bolts and Birds, but since the Bolts got beat up in the first round, I might as well revise and go for the sentimental favorite: Eagles/Steelers, the all Pennsylvania game.

Fastbreak Pinball

I suspected I'd hate this game when I saw it, as it involved pinball and professional basketball, two things which I'm pretty lukewarm on, but it was actually a lot of fun. So how do you know you don't like Brussel Sprouts unless you try them?

Its white and fluffy, for a little while at least. Also, it ocassionally gives you an excuse to be late for work.
